Contribuer aux commentairesHighly recommend the buffalo shrimp app 10/10. The oyster rockefeller was good, they don’t cook with pork or beef so it didn’t have bacon 7/10. Chicken and rice with mushroom and onion gravy was very good 8/10, the cabbage was a bit too crunchy for me and had too much oil 6/10, the cornbread tasted stale, like it was leftover from the previous day (we went right at 11am) If it was made fresh it would’ve been good. 6/10 My dad got shrimp and scallops over rice and cabbage he said his food was good. Had a side order of Mac and cheese 7/10. Overall I enjoyed my food and Kayla was an amazing server. The staff is very attentive; food is pricey but you’re likely to have plenty of leftovers
From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like royalty. Kayla was our server and when I say 1000 percent on her game this lady was the GOAT. She knew the menu like the back or her hand, she didn’t rush us, she had suggestions and why we should try. I am a very harsh critic when it comes to service and overall experience. When I say perfect timing on table manner I’m not exaggerating. She was on point from the time we sat down til the second we left. The only way to have this type of service is if the server have their fingers on the pulse, they have to care. Kayla cared. I’ve been all over the world and have eaten in 1000s of restaurants. This by far was the best meal I have eaten in 25 years. That doesn’t come easy from me, to impress me you need to check all the boxes. Food was spiced well and you could tell care was taken with prep all the way to Kayla picking it up from window. Let me also share this, one of the huge points Kayla made was: they don’t have a microwave in the kitchen. For people that enjoy good meals we appreciate this. I could go on but I’ll leave you with this: if Kayla had a bad day which I believe would be rare, because if her attention to detail, she would be leaps and bounds better than most servers in their good days. I’ve been in the service industry for 25 years and when I feel the urge to make sure everyone from the Management to the cooks know how great they are doing which is rare, I make it my mission before I leave to share how much I appreciate them. I’ll put this disclaimer out there: if you ever get questionable service or food from this establishment, I’ll buy you dinner. I stand by that! So often we are disappointed with service or food as a whole as a community, when someone is killing it, they need to be uplifted! Loved every second I was in this place and I have never said that about any restaurant ever in 40 years of dining out.

Waited for service, drinks, everything. Was sat in a section with very few patrons but still took forever for service. Food was decent.
