Kubota Japanese Cuisine - Petersham

Very cozy small local restaurant. The food keeps the original taste with smoothly seasons. Comfortable place for family or friend gathering. The tariyaki chicken is one of the best dish in Sydney that I regon.

Lovely small Japanese restaurant with a cosy and clean ambiance. Would be great for any Japanese food lovers or anyone with a light and clean pallet. Went with my family for lunch and if you order from their lunch menu you are in for a filling meal. Along with your main you get edamame, Adagashi tofu, miso and a refreshing salad (the dressing on this salad is great! Nutty, sweet, savoury and tart). We ordered the wagyu beef teriyaki bowl, salmon bowl and teriyaki kingfish. The wagyu bowl was tender and flavourful, the salmon bowl was refreshingly light with the pickled ginger to help cut through the buttery salmon. The teriyaki kingfish was slightly overcooked in some areas (but it was nothing off putting) and teriyaki flavour was still good. Overall good Japanese lunch spot and moderately priced.

What a find in Petersham! Wonderful Japanese food and I can safely say we loved everything we ordered. The portions are generous and the service is quick and efficient. I cannot wait to go back. #kubota

Amazing deal at lunch time! My favourite is sashimi assorted. Full of my stomach but also it is very delicious.Kids friendly and nice service though we are very happy to have Kubota our neighbors !!

Very authentic Japanese restaurant in my local area. <br/ <br/ We had an amazing lunch there on Sunday. Quality food made with fresh produce. I have to say we were pretty impressed worth the food quality and size for their price.<br/ <br/ The staff are very polite and helpful. <br/ <br/ Spacious ambience, perfect to go with kids and even with a pram.
