Second, their mac and cheese was as stated MAC and CHEESE with some toasted bread crumbs on it. Bland. Flavorless. Kraft does better than that. The mac was very dry, as well as their chicken tenders were very thick and not tasty. At one point, I saw my chicken tender literally TWITCH, meaning it was well undercooked. Finally their fried pickles are spears and not circles. As well as they gave us little kid cups as if we are children. Our waiter DONALD also decided to wait 25 minutes to get our payment, so we went inside to pay and he literally accused us of DINE AND DASHING. It was not busy at all, we were 1 of 2 TABLES. Would NOT recommend. MOLLY MAGUIRES IS A DISGRACE TO PHOENIXVILLE AND THE IRISH COMMUNITY. #dobetter
Edit: went again yesterday and we had a great meal and service as per usual. Our server Hannah was so so so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to be back! I’d recommend trying the egg roll sampler plate. Absolutely delicious Honestly some of the best food I’ve tried in the area. Delicious Food, great atmosphere and our waitress was super nice. Totally recommend the Reuben bites and the Irish sampler was to die for
FANTASTIC! The pub is quite rowdy, but we sat back in a booth where it was more quiet. We got the trio pies and the Mac and cheese with bangers. Both were great, but wow those pies were outstanding! We are from out West and we never have food like this, so it was all around a great meal. Our servers were extremely polite, and you get plenty of food for the price. I’d give 10/5 stars if I could- definitely make a stop here!!
My first and last experience with this place; Here’s why. So i get carded and wasn’t served; granted my ID is expired; however, my ID expired in the middle of the pandemic. Therefore, i couldn’t go to renew it. I was a little upset and annoyed; however, i just witnessed “Missey”, a waitress here, serve somebody at my table and didn’t card him. I just think that was so disrespectful, and i will never come here again.
We've been here a few times and had a fun with the music and atmosphere. This time was a quiet winter weeknight but the staff was still friendly and did a great job. The Irish Colcannon Balls were good...kind of like a deep fried ball of mashed potatoes; a little plain but the chipotle dipping sauce added enough of a kick. The fish chips were very good, not greasy or overly breaded as we've experienced at a lot of places. The Guinness Steak Pie was delicious and filling; the picture doesn't really capture it, but it was a big bowl of beef, gravy, potatoes veggies in a rich gravy...really good. Can't wait for our next visit!
