Despite waiting over 15 minutes to order food and drinks, we were completely ignored. There were only about 7 to 10 patrons in the bar at 9:30 pm, and no one at the tables. We even called ahead to check the kitchen's closing time, as we were not from the area. I have never felt so unwelcome in an Irish pub before. We waited patiently at the bar while the bartender tended to her tasks, but she continued to ignore us. Even after finishing cleaning up a plate, she leaned back on the bar and started socializing without even asking us for our order. We decided to leave as it seemed like they didn't want our business. One thing Irish girls do is we don't forget, and this was the worst service I have ever experienced.
Timmy is back and ready to bring in the customers! Tim is the friendly ginger in the neighborhood. Let's support him and his restaurant!
If you are looking for a solid place to have a bite to eat and a pint to drink, then you have found your place! The atmosphere is a mix between a neighborhood bar and a restaurant. There’s plenty of space the food is above average and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a place to set up shop and hang for a bit then this is the place.
All the bar top and bartenders in the basement were constantly “busy” and preoccupied with chatting with friends and running between different stations, 2$ water bottles instead of offering cups with ice for a 1$ (I understand it’s a hassle to get a water sometimes in a rush but the water bottle’s as defaults for 2$ are unnecessary in my personal opinion and some okay music that didn’t seem too “mixed” by a hype DJ. Was very unimpressed for even a small cover to get in and experience the stickiest and soaked carpet leading out to a narrow(? dance floor. Good food and respectful and kind service from the employees, would maybe make this a late night stop at the end of bar hopping down the street and enjoy a dance off semi frequently I’m sorry I wish I could say more positive features but having my shoes feeling almost soaked in soda on the bottoms before I even touched the dance floor was the HUGEST turn off immediately and it was hard to ignore to say the least
My sister and I, who are from Canada, were excited to visit our cousins' favorite spot in town on our final day in Phoenixville. We had been enjoying our time in this lovely town, but our experience was soured when the bouncer at the establishment refused to accept our Canadian IDs and treated us rudely. It was disappointing to encounter such unfriendly behavior after meeting so many wonderful people in the area. We hope that next Christmas, when we visit again, we will be able to enjoy karaoke night without any issues. Hopefully, by then, the establishment will have fixed the code scanner for Canadian IDs and will have more friendly and understanding staff at the door.
