The Lighthouse Restaurant - Picton

We visited for lunch and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table for four. We wished we could sit outside but it seemed those tables were closed for the season. The menu is extensive with many breakfast and brunch options. We ordered items for the kids, as well as a burger and fish and chips for ourselves. The portions were generous, especially the kids' breakfast, and everything was delicious. The fries, specifically the lettuce fries, were a highlight and not to be missed. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and nice. It was a pleasant experience that we haven't had in a long time.

This restaurant is a popular spot, especially for breakfast. The service is good and they have all the classic diner favorites.

We stayed overnight at this hotel and found the room to be clean with queen-sized beds. Despite the hotel being fully booked, we were fortunate to have quiet and peaceful surroundings. The restaurant provided excellent service, even though it was busy. We were able to enjoy an early breakfast on a first-come, first-served basis. The restaurant had only been open for 3 days after closures, but the service was impressive and the food arrived quickly. The coffee was diner style and refilled frequently. The burger was tasty and the pancakes were fresh, especially the blueberry pancakes. The home fries with the eggs breakfast could have been better, as they were more sautéed than deep-fried. Overall, the portion sizes were satisfying without leaving us feeling overly full.

We came to Prince Edward County for a weekend getaway during COVID-19. Having not sat in a restaurant for a very long time, we were quite skeptical about doing that. We were in the mood for breakfast and planned to takeout. After seeing inside, we noticed this place using plastic curtains to divide patrons! Wonderful! All servers were wearing masks. Comfort achieved! The food was good! The homefries were the star. Not your typical homefries infused with mushrooms onions and it was really soft! Great job all around , service was top notch
