Awful. One time is an off day, two times is a dirty establishment with nasty staff. If the flies swarming all over the deli counter don 't turn you off, and you don 't mind 1 having a simple order of sandwiches entirely messed up and 2 paying $33 for said 2 messed up sandwiches and 2 cans of soda, then you 'll certainly be turned off by the horribly rude staff. To wit: 1 the older female greeter who told us that the empty tables right out side the restaurant were not for takeout (but that just this one time she 'd let us sit there. 2 the younger female barback who, when asked for water (she was literally standing RIGHT by the water tap told us that we could get water from the bathroom sink. When I embarrassed her into filling our glasses (who wants to bring food and cutlery into a bathroom??? she tried to defend herself by telling me it 's the same water. Oh, and after ignoring us, then proceeded to snap at us when we went to get extra napkins and a knife. Not to be outdone: charging 4% for use of a credit card with absolutely no sign whatsoever. This may be one of the first few places that you see in town, but there are plenty of other places to grab a bite in a shop that 's clean and does not have overtly hostile staff. BIG SKIP!

Fresh food, good service. Nice place to stop in for a quick meal, particularly on a night you don't feel like cooking.

One of my local faves. love the cooking and very casual atmosphere .. low key, neighborly and good at what they do. plus surprisingly good selection of IPA's, draft and cans. can be a bit of wait for service at times, as they are not overstaffed. but so what ... chill out, it's Piermont.

Had a sandwich here a few weeks ago that was out of this world. Since then I've gone out of my way two more times to try and eat here sinde then but the girl behind the counter tells me it's not 12 o'clock yet at 11:40am. Who orders an egg sandwich at 11:40am in 90 degree heat? Is there a time based lock on the deli meat that doesn't activate until noon?

I usually scan the reviews prior to visiting any restaurant I will be visiting this restaurant for the first time tomorrow .. I have NEVER seen a more ridiculous group of “ NEGATIVE “ reviews on one restaurant EVER . Most bordered on the typical WHINING never happy group usually labeled “ THE ENTITLED “No — I do not have any ties to this restaurant and will be returning here to “ UPDATE “ my opinion with an honest ADULT opinion
