Lange's Cafe - Pipestone

Desserts are very good. The quality of the food for what you pay for is disappointing. Nothing special about the food. Just order Desserts

They aren't open and haven't updated any information online to let you know that the drive isnt worth it

On our way to Pipestone National Monument we stopped in for breakfast. Upon being seated we noticed how many dirty tables needed to be cleaned ours included once our server came to greet us she warned us it would be 30 minutes for food to arrive so obviously they were short staffed. We ordered the Denver Omelet and the aptly named Big Fish. As predicted our food did take 30 minutes to arrive but at least we were prepared. Our meals were quite tasty and our server, Leslie did a nice job considering she was only one of two servers on duty. The prices seemed slightly on the high side but overall it was a nice experience and next time in town we would definitely try Lange's again.

They have ONE cook, and she is slower than molasses. 35 minutes to get out 2 orders of French toast. Went back to give them a second chance and after seeing them man handle some toast before giving it a man and the gnats in their display case with the pies and bread and after 40 minutes waiting on biscuits and gravy breakfast special for THAT DAY) we walked out.
