We stopped here with a tour for a lunch buffet and were not disappointed. Beverages were not included, but these were very cheap (big bottle Coca Cola-30 peso). The food (especially the conchinita pibil) was amazing, and was served with optional corn... Tortillas fresh in front of you from a lady working in the restaurant. Ours was a fast stop, but the pool areas from the back looked nice, so would return for a longer time if back in the area.
Our family and friends stayed here after our guide had recommended it to us. They make homemade tortillas, amazing local cuisine and even had a dance show while we ate. The food was incredible and the waiter brought a tasting of a local drink to try that was delicious. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
After spending time at the ruins this was a great way to break up the day. Authentic Mayan food. I didn't even make a taco. I just took all the ingredients on my plate and ate. Only had lunch. The desserts looked very nice too...but I was stuffed. I also enjoyed the cultural dance show presented. Definitely recommend!
