The meal was absolutely delicious, however I was missing some vegetables on my plate. I mentioned it to the server, but nothing was done about it. This was my fifth New Year's celebration at the Loft, and although service was ok, it didn't measure up to previous years. I felt out table was neglected somewhat this year:
Food and service are excellent but the room is freezing cold By the end of our dinner on Saturday, I was shivering and my hands were like ice. I would recommend to people based on the food and tell them to wear many layers.
We had the NYE 4 course dinner. From the moment we arrived, it was excellence all the way. The serving staff was so polite, courteous and went above and beyond to see to your dining experience. The live music created an atmosphere of joy and romance. Are plan is to return for a Sunday meal.
Was disappointed. I understand that it was new year 's eve but they should 've planned better considering the price of the experience they were offering. The French 75 drink wasn 't very well made Prosecco mixed with gin and citrus are just not a good combination. Plus it wasn 't served cold. The kushi oysters were weirdly served with carrot and turnip/radish slices. The carpaccio, while good, had too little beef and was overwhelmed by the salad. The Cesar salad was good. The soup was good too and so was the surf and turf. The beef medallion was perfectly cooked but the scallops were too salty. They forgot to serve the palate cleanser between the starters and entrees. The creme brulee was much too thick and sweet as if made with condensed milk.
