Ah! I'm disappointed. The restaurant interior does not live up to the reputation of the Hilton Hotel. It made me laugh and sigh at the same time. Do you think that such an interior is the interior of a cheap local Chinese restaurant, but an interior suitable for a Hilton Hotel? The food is great! It is not a food that suits Korean tastes. According to the comments of many Korean students who have been there, the taste of the food is neither one nor the other; it is Korean food that does not suit the tastes of Koreans at all. There is a music camp nearby, so there are many Korean students, so please keep in mind that there are people who like and dislike the taste of the food.
The sushi is fresh and taste, well prepared as are the other dishes. We were a party of 10 and had a private dining room, a real luxury. The staff is very obliging.
Jae's at the Hilton Garden Inn has finally found a home after moving more than once. And what a good landing it is. Filled up constantly with hotel guests and locals, and I assume tourists, I agree with all comments that laud the cleanliness, service and anything else about the appearance of the restaurant. It is lovely. I wish, however, I could agree with what they say about the food. Notwithstanding a menu that would satisfy anyone, after 3 visits I found the food lacking in preparation and taste. Granted, it could be a simple matter of taste, but I doubt it. Offering less variety especially, and improving quality, would be a good start. I would hate their run to be a short one. Some others nearby have not fared well.
Let’s start out by saying that if it’s a party of 6 or more you automatically get charged for gratuity (they don’t tell you this) and you can’t split the check. You have to do the math and tell them how much you want on each card. The managers knew we were unhappy with our service but still never bothered to get feedback from us. We waited forever for the waiter to “split” and still got it wrong . EDIT: the manager just replied and misspelled my name. My name is on the review. If they can’t take the time to spell my name right how could they get your service correct?
