We visited on recommended a stipendiate in our residential complex. the place is removed from avenida quinta and all the hectic and trubel, and its invisible outer lies the delicious eating awaits inside. we had bruschetta pomodoro to begin what very. my wife thought it had a little more olive oil, but very good anyway. for the net she had the quatro formaggio gnocchi and I had the fatty carbonara. we both agreed that they were the best we had. the weeping were generous and the mosque mule (with a Caribbean twist, which meant that it dives significantly from its original version) was tasty. service was very good and alessio was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. if they wish excellent food and service for a reasonable price, check out this place. this will be on our list of Go-to posts in pdc when we return.
I ordered two pizzas. marcelo told me because it is so busy, maybe lasted 45 minutes, 35 minutes later came back, marcelo gave me a beer while I was waiting for the waiting period and apologised, although I was not disturbed by him. especially, considering how busy they were. the pizzas were excellent! I wish I could come back, but was my last night in pdc.
We spent our last night with a pleasant Italian dinner in playa del carmen in la famiglia. only one block of quinta avenida at the foot of the carmen hotel, the restaurant overlooks the sea and is a quiet place than some others along the...main shopping street. everything our family ordered was delicious and the staff was very attentive. they had a dj that played some light techno music that was good for background ambiance without being too loud. it was a bit windy when we were there in the evening, so we recommend to sit in the building (which is also open air) if that is the case.
Not the most inviting place in PDC, we have eaten here before in past visits and enjoyed it however this time the entrance was roped off and wasn’t sure if they were opened once seated the waiter was short and didn’t introduce himself. Waited for...the appetizer and waited on the food all the while noticing that only 3 tables were seated in the restaurant almost as if the staff wanted to stand around and talk amongst themselves rather than serve the diners. I can see why this place has slipped down the ratings and we won’t be back. The food was good but not great.
