Omelette Waffle Cafe Northville

My friend and I went to this restaurant for breakfast. The food was amazing, you place your order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was fantastic. The atmosphere was very friendly, the staff was great, and the food was excellent.

My daughter treated my mother and me to this restaurant. While I was thankful for the gesture, I was also disappointed with our experience. We had to pay for our food before even being seated, the staff at the front counter was rude, the food was served cold, the orange juice tasted terrible and seemed to be made from concentrate. Our plates were brought out at different times and we had to get our own water. It was a terrible experience and I will not be returning.

I was disappointed to return to this restaurant after a few years and be publicly reprimanded by a line cook for sitting with my mother at a four-person table. While I understand the inconvenience I may have caused for larger parties, this situation could have been handled discreetly by a manager. The restaurant was only half full at the time. The line cook, a young man with medium length hair tied back and multiple tattoos, left his post at the grill to confront us in front of the other customers. This made us feel very embarrassed, especially since there were other solo diners also sitting at four-person tables. While I acknowledge the challenges in the service industry, it is important for management to discipline their team and demonstrate strong leadership. Being more patient and understanding with customers, who ultimately support the business, is crucial.

They had a very Comfortable atmosphere. You kind of missed that when you eat in the bigger restaurants.

I love little hole in the wall places, And this place did not disappoint. Nice menu, actual eggs with fresh vegetables. Friendly staff. It’s not the ritz, but that’s what gives it character. Support small businesses!
