The smoked beef tongue was a bit salty, but with mustard, horseradish, and good bread, it was great. The beef tartare was excellent. If only the server had asked whether we wanted our toast with oil or dry. In any case, it's worth a visit. The beer was tasty, and the atmosphere was stylish.
In terms of service, the waiter made an effort to accommodate our large group, despite not having all the necessary meat cuts available for our desired dishes. We were able to negotiate alternative options with the cook. The ambience of the restaurant gave off a medieval vibe, which added to the overall experience. They offer excellent mead for those who enjoy it, and they even have the option to mix it with Pilsner upon request. One downside was the allowance of smoking during lunch service. There was an older man at the next table who spent half an hour reading sports results and chain smoking, which was off-putting. However, this just goes to show that rude people can be found anywhere, underscoring the importance of having strict rules in place.
