Pirate's Cove - Point Arena

We stopped by for lunch and food was very good. The chicken fajitas were fantastic and the chicken Macho burrito was 5 stars!

Our first time in Point Arena. Small town, not much to chose from. We saw this place coming into town, and decided to stop when we left. We got there around 2:30. There was only 1 table taken with 2 people. We ordered right away. Food came out super quick. After we ordered, they gave us chips and salsa. Our drinks came out. The Horchata was really good. Says on the menu that it's homemade. Not sure if that's true, but it had flex of something in it, which I've never seen, so I'm guessing it is. I ordered chicken tostadas. They were super good. The shells were fresh and crisp. The meat and toppings were flavorful. Came with rice and beans. Both awesome. A lot of times Mexican rice is dry in restaurants. This was moist and fluffy. Hubby got the chicken enchiladas. He liked them. He said they were a bit spicy, but I didn't think they were at all. Had a great flavor. The sauce tasted different than I've ever had. Maybe homemade? His also came with rice and beans. Inside is pretty basic. No frills. All tables. 2 televisions that were playing Mexican soaps. Fairly clean inside. Lots of parking outside. By the time we were leaving, there was a mob of schoolkids ordering. Glad we got there when we did. Good food. Friendly staff. Definetly worth the stop. For our meals, the total was about 34 bucks. Not too bad.

Loved the carnitas super quesadilla, very tasty. Would recommend highly!

Delicious food and great, friendly service from this little roadside restaurant. I had this fish and chips and it was just perfect, couldn't have asked for anything better. The waitress was incredibly nice and pleasant to be around. I will definitely come here again if I'm in the area.

Come here if you want good food, big portions AND you don't want to go broke. Definitely recommend the fish and chips with a horchata. PS sorry about the half eaten food, forgot I was going to take pictures lol
