Le must de cet endroit est le fait maison et local, avec goût et variété ! Unique à Poitiers ! Ce que le consommateur moderne recherche, c'est des produits frais et locaux, des viandes ou poissons de qualité avec des légumes bien préparés mais peu copieux. Le prix correct tourne autour de 8,50 € par plat, et les desserts délicieux ne sont pas en reste !
Friday's you could find in the States. Faux brick walls, sports on the TV, overworked waitstaff. Though the menu is filled with familiar comfort eats that lean heavy, everything is well-seasoned and surprisingly tasty. The steak, served on a sizzling plate, while not of the highest quality, is cooked perfectly medium rare. The onion rings, while a tad greasy, are crispy and delicious. The margaritas are strong and cheap. A decent spot for an unpretentious, budget-friendly meal in the heart of the city.
I discovered this restaurant by chance, because it is half hidden in an entrance that gives access to the shopping centre cordellier. Discrete, your menu was displayed at the entrance, with three main course options, some of the entries and desserts. on the first day, I chose a dish with pork, "travers de porc caramélisé au sesame" accompanied with vegetables, simply fantastic! there works like this: you choose the main dish and the accompaniment, which in the day, could be fried, puree, cooked vegetables. can choose more than one follow-up too. the cardapio changes every day, at least in regards to the main dishes. my dessert was chocolate mousse that was divine. In fact, everything I ate was perfect. I liked it so much that I came back the next day and chose lunch "cuisse de volaille rôti à la marocaine". people, you have no idea how much that dish tastes! is a kind of super well seasoned stew chicken, with a very tasty sauce. how accompaniment I opted for mashed potatoes. I ate a crème brullè. I must tell you that the foods I tasted in this restaurant were the most fantastic of poitiers. the chef is an artist in the art of cooking. It's a must!
Only for a quick lunch, if you are in a hurry. a tip: take only the main dish (not very copied) and even if you are hung. The addition will be quickly high if you take an entry and dessert (priority) or even a drink and a coffee.Only advantage: in "ready" of a shopping center.
