We stayed one night at this lovely spot and we will certainly return. The building is amazing and the family has done an excellent job in renovating it to a restaurant and hotel. Bold colours contrast well with the beams and old machinery. We had a lovely welcome. We sat downstairs with a clear view of an ancient footbridge across the river. The waterfall could be heard very clearly. The wine was outstanding-Enfer-13.5%-and the owner knew her stuff! There was no menu and when each course arrived, the tastes, colours and presentation did not disappoint. Ingredients came from the local area e.g, goats cheese from a neighbour who was friend too, nettles gathered by hand and zabaglione made with local cream. Breakfast too was top quality. Thank-you to all the people who helped make us a memorable stay.

Set menu dinners in this nice venue area great introduction to local food including nettle soup and the like. Good Aosta wines by the glass, good bread.

Il ristorante si trova in una bellissima e particolare location. Offre un menù fisso che cambia regolarmente. Il nostro menù includeva antipasti, primi piatti (tra cui una zuppa), un secondo piatto e un dolce, al costo di euro a persona. Le bevande non erano incluse, tranne l'acqua naturale. Alla fine del pasto c'era la possibilità di ordinare diverse tisane. I piatti erano eccellenti e era possibile chiedere un bis. L'unica pecca era il dolce del nostro menù, con mirtilli freschi e crema alla lavanda che forse aveva un sapore troppo forte di lavanda. Consigliato.

Non molto panoramica la zona, ma la location è bella, ristrutturata in antico mulino e adiacente segheria. Il piccolo giardino è affacciato ad un antico ponte di pietra A Le camere, modernamente realizzate, sono spaziose e silenziose, nonostante la vicinanza al torrente. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di usufruire, prima di cena, della SPA, con Vasca idromassaggio e doccia rinfrescante, frutta fresca e the . Due ore di assoluto relax in un ambiente gradevole affacciato sul torrente. La cena a menu fisso prevedeva alcuni antipasti tra cui foglie di salvia e fiori di zucchini in pastella, tagliatelle al sugo, arrosto di maiale al latte e dolce con mirtilli. Tutto cucinato alla perfezione da sapienti mani abituate alla cucina casalinga. Il tutto accompagnato da una sincera cortesia. Grazie.
