Shorty's Place - Port Aransas

I set 1 star because I can't set any negative stars. I can't recommend this place. the owner is unAmerican. my wife and I were banned from this bar because they sing the national anthem of our country. even though the whole crowd was up, removed her guards and sang. totally brilliant! but I guess the owner didn't think so. without explanation are my wife and I are the only ones that are forbidden. leaving the culture has made her way to port aransas ... how sad!

It's the oldest and friendliest bar in Port Aransas. Also good vibes.

Stopped by while on my honeymoon. This place is a gem in Port Aransas and has great live music. Everything about this place is perfect. Good friendly people, drinks are cold and awesome bartender!

This is the best dive bar in Texas. The people are super friendly, there is great live music, and they have a good selection of cold beer. Sunday Funday was amazing!

One of my favorite dive bars in all of Texas. I hear they're moving it in a year or so. Has withstood, four or five hurricanes, probably in its third location now, but Port Aransas is being regentrified. GO there before it doesn't exist.Proudly have a sticker on my car.
