Great place to just grab a takeaway coffee or sit down and enjoy the ambience. Caters for breakfast and lunch, morning and afternoon tea and everything in between. If you are gluten free, lactose free or have any other dietary requirements the team at Bittersweet will do their best. There are tables inside and outside so you can bring your pooch along and there is a water bowl to quench their thirst too. The cakes and slices here are to die for . . . I just wish I didn’t live so close

I just Love Bittersweet, everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The staff know exactly how I like my coffee as I am very fussy. When I pre-order it is always ready for me when I arrive which is what I like. The menu is varied and the food absolutely delicious. We Love to go there for lunch or just drop in at any time for a cuppa. The new Decor is great and there is a lot more room. If you are a local or just visiting Port, it is worth stopping in on Bittersweet, you won't be disappointed! Cheers Sheila Sam Openshaw

Bittersweet is a fabulous cafe. We've been going there for years. It's in a great location near Lighthouse Beach, the staff are lovely, the coffee is great and the food is wonderful try the granola tart for breakfast!
