Great soups, salad, pizza and pie! Best Mulligatawny soup and Marionberry pie ever!

First time back in awhile. The pizza is excellent; one of the best crusts I have ever eaten. (Blackened crust is a STYLE, not a mistake. Toppings are fresh and delicious. The 2 salads available are amazingly good the Caesar is cheesy and rich, the green salad has a lovely vinaigrette and gorgeous veg. Soups are homemade and always interesting. Same for the pie, which sells fast, so order early! Beer and wine selection are small, but fine. Soft drink variety is really good. Service is limited, so be patient the food is worth it!

Yes! It was all so good and fresh. Loved that there was an outdoor seating area, so we could have our pup by our side. The restaurant is tucked in a side street, nice and shady for an afternoon lunch. Not much foot traffic, so my dog could sort of chill because less dogs were walking by, if that makes sense. The food was perfect. We got the house salad and a cheese pizza with roasted garlic. They use whole milk cheese on the pizza which gave it a buttery taste, as well as some extra grease (some might blot off). The sauce was not over done. I do suggest you give the pizza about five minutes to cool before breaking in, it is served HOT from the oven I wish I could have tried their fruit pies. I'll need to the next time I come to the town.

I ordered a pizza for carry out yesterday the woman working the counter said it would be ready in 20 minutes. So I come back in 20 minutes I'm standing there waiting for my pizza for 15 minutes without any eye contact or update about my pizza. I finally ask about it, she goes in the kitchen to find out. She comes back out to the counter without a word to me, goes about her business. At this point I assume they had not made it. Apparently that was the case, because 15 minutes later I finally get my pizza! I wanted to extract my tip out of the jar. Tip: do not tip until you get your order.
