Excellent spaghetti and meatballs, chicken picatta and antipasto plate. friendly staff.
Great place. we were recommended in the quimper inn and they emphatically lanzas. in that I was initially skeptical that there was a kind of relationship between the two companies. but whatever it is between them, everything is good. / the eating was delicious: huhn marsala and penne with prawns and sausage. and plentiful – no room for dessert (at first the piano game was a bit overwhelming, but when the evening went and the house was packed, it was very entertaining and romantic (and I didn't even cry.)
The staff is very courteous, friendly and professional. the environment is romantic and eating is absolutely the best Italian cuisine I ever had. to her minenmann soup. their rolls are made to house and hand rolled, they are soft, warm and chewing. her marinosauce is perfect and her meatballs are delicious. her cream sauce is absolutely incredible! the taste profile is like nothing I've ever tried. her tiramisu is delicious to eat like a cappuccino cake with delicious custard on the top. lanzas has become mine
Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and so happy we did! In Port Townsend for the night and ventured into downtown for a late dinner (8:15pm seems late for restaurants in this town) Our waitress was the nicest lady ever. Super attentive, friendly and just on top of everything I wish I had caught her name; we never had to wait for a refill and she always had a smile waiting for you. I ordered the puttanesca spaghetti and it was amazing. Sooooo good. Other entrees ordered were chicken piccata, calzones and fettuccini Alfredo which isn't even on the menu but they made it special for our youngest, picky eater. Everything was delicious from the moment they gave us warm bread rolls with butter to our dinners. Nice ambience as well, definitely go here if you're in the mood for good pasta!
