Laurelthirst Public House - Portland

The Thirst is my favorite, neighborhood bar, hands down. Tonight, they featured the Pagan Jug Band, and they did not disappoint! Great music, awesome, friendly service and a chance to connect with friends, old and new. I couldn't ask for more.

This is such a great place to hear live music. On top of that it has great food and great drinks. I can't recommend it enough. At this time in March of 2022, proof of vaccination and masks are required. They have been big proponents of everyone taking care of one another and I appreciate that in this business. It's been in Portland a very long time and there is a reason for that. If you come to visit, I highly recommend it. If you live here and haven't been there yet, get your butt over there!!

They cultivate a wonderful music community every night of the week. Great folk/americana/bluegrass/alt-country bands play here. Great atmosphere.

Awesome pub/music venue with world class acts on any given day of the week. A must for visitors of stump town to get a taste of the vibe and artists that made Portland famous.

That was, hands down, the best Reuben I've had this side of the Mississippi. As a New Jersey/New Englander I don't say that lightly. Listening to John Craigie live, eating grilled pastrami... This is the life y'all.
