Ate here twice. Food was lacking in consistency (execution was off both times; we had undercooked grains, and the other time the potatoes), menu lacks a bit of cohesion. Service was above average. Atmosphere was welcoming. Wine menu was off the charts. I recommend for the wine selection and some of the smaller plates to pair with a good bottle.Overall, there's stiff competition at this spots price point $60 for a meal/drink and I think you could do better.
If you love fine European cuisine or want food cooked with love and care, come here. I’ve been here twice with family, and each time, I’m blown away by the level of service, quality of food, and comfort of the ambience. It’s a hidden gem in Portland for people who appreciate fresh, fresh ingredients cooked delicately and with skill. Must visit in my humble opinion.
Amazing wine experience, and bread/butter and olive oils to die for. Great service at the bar and really tasty food. Go without hesitation as it’s awesome.Food: 5/5
Very delicious food and a very accommodating and kind staff. Unfortunately very small portions (even the family style larger portions) for way too much money. We spent $40+ per person just on food and left so hungry we went to a taco place down the street right after. To be clear, it was very delicious, just not worth it.
