Delicious all around.I have a hard time trusting ****’s, but they’re are claimed as award winning so I gave it a shot. It was perfectly balanced and delicious. The hash browns are cooked perfectly with being flat and crispy, and seasoned! The moneyball with mushroom gravy is big and delicious. Pleanty of food packed full for flavor.Vegetarian options: They have mushroom gravy and sussage gravy.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome anywhere in the establishment
The Reggie Deluxe was on fire (to those not familiar with today's slang, it means good, great, delicious, or any other positive descriptor you could think of)! Be careful when biting into it.I had to deconstruct the sandwich because eating it any other way seemed impossible without making a mess. This isn't related to the restaurant, but it's on a one way and sometimes you'd be stuck there for a few minutes due to the train track. Plan accordingly and bring a board game to play in your car while you wait.Parking: Paid parking on the street and lots. Just hide your stuff, it's Portland after all.
Layout/atmosphere*Tables and counter space next to where you order; second room with picnic tablesFood/drink*The Reggie Deluxe (fried chicken, bacon, Tillamook cheddar cheese, sausage gravy over hard egg) three elements make/break the dish; the biscuit had nice texture, didn’t fall apart/get overwhelmed by the other elements and wasn’t dry; the chicken was cooked right; wasn’t crazy about the gravy but overall good*Beer, cocktails desserts also served
Would give a 5 star but I got a to-go order and asked for half and half but only got mushroom gravy. Place is confusing to figure out how to get into at first if you’re not familiar with the area. The biscuit was really soft and flaky so 5/5 on the biscuits. They had lots of cocktail options so I would definitely come back for brunch one day!
