There might be a small wait but no more than 15 mins. I recommend trying their banana nut bread French toast (more on the sweet side).
This was our second time in a week as it was a pre-accupuncture stop and after the first time I was craving the chicken fried steak which I NEVER) order and onion rings which are impossible to find here). The gravy on the steak is delicious too. It was all good. If you’re after a true diner experience this is the place! The servers were great, place was small so we almost had to wait but this time chose the counter experience which we NEVER do). I guess it’s normally busy? It was definitely packed and though no wait it was full. Both times we came at about 12:30 pm.
Had the verde omelet from the specials menu, insane amount of flavor, real good spice to it. Menu and specials had a lot of other great options. Fast friendly service as well
This place is super cute! I love the curved bar to eat at. The place is small. The employees were all very friendly. It has a great neighborhood feel. The perfect place for breakfast and a walk through the cute houses or a bit further to forest park.
Curious staff and tasty food. Generous portions. Prompt service. They were packed. Would definitely recommend. I had the banana bread french toast with a side of bacon and hot chocolate.
