Ozzy (named after the Survivor icon, not the Rockstar) is a really frightening pup that usually does not do very well in the public - especially in food. But we were on our way back to Seattle and needed a place to eat the allowed dogs. Victoria was perfect. You have a really impressive bar, beautiful designs beer selection, creative cocktails and an extensive menu with tons of vegan options. We chose the vegan burger, simple pommes and the vegan Caesar salad. The burger was okay. They use one beyond the plaster with home seasonings and a few toppings. It was certainly not life changed, but not bad in any way. The Pommes were really good. Crispy, thin, perfectly salted and served with a sauce that reminded me of Thousand Island Dressing. I loved the salad too. I usually like more dressing and more croutons than the average person. It had the perfect amount of dressing for me, and there were more than enough crumbs. It also had whole roasted garlic cloves and roasted farms in it, which was a beautiful surprise. I would not hesitate to recommend this place or go back when we are in town. But I think we'd probably try something else. Great service. Clean place. Heated terrace.
I love this place so much! The service is always friendly and welcoming and there are plenty of heated covered outdoor seats. I also really appreciate the varied vegan menu options.
Can I just start with YO THE FRIES? I came by with a friend for a short drink a weekday and gosh this place was PACKED. We were able to make a table quite easy so wohoo~ Technically, we didn't want to grab a food brood that Fritten and Burrata could resist?! Not me or my friend apparently l o l We loved the drinks themes and everyone got a pretty tasty cocktail and went absolutely into the city on the frits! The burrata was served with caponata and bread and we definitely enjoyed it. The interior is sweet and cozy and you order at the bar, take your number and sit for your food and drinks. Overall, you love the vegan options and how cool it is that it is a cute camera photobooth inside! Parking spaces are street parking spaces that can be difficult in peak times. Drive by definitely if you want cool drinks and delicious food!
I offered my son a choice for brunch on a Saturday and gave him several menus to look and he chose Victoria. I wasn't here before and was kind of ambivalent, but thought it was as good, hopefully as the Bye and Bye, with the same property. Let me say that for 7 years The Bye and Bye was my FAVORITE vegan breakfast, brunch, **** Mary spot, all-around favorite bar, bartender and vibe. BUT Victoria can be a serious competition. My first visit to BLEW. I love the mood inside. Someone else said it was WAY Hipster. Yeah. Wooden decoration and old furniture super bright and HUGE bar, fantastic music. I'm a big Stones fan, I love some yacht rock and I have the best of both 70's and 80's here to get up while I imbibed and stopped. I ordered the Victoria breakfast, the house made vegan sausage patties, Tofu Scramble, breakfast potatoes and biscuits and Gravy. It was HUGE. And you all ate the UP. I can't or should I say SHOULD NOT eat so much, but I was hungry and it was so good. I never like at home Pommes/breakfast potatoes, but these were crispy and delicious. Flavored with only enough salt and slightly seasoned. Not greasy just perfect. And of course I threw some crystal on the boys! The Tofu Scramble was delicious. Very well seasoned, but not over salted or soggy. I didn't care about the sausage, but my son swore my, so there was no problem lol now the cookies are my story here y'all. I had a cookie and gravy since I was vegan who knocked me on my peach. That was EPIC. Chive Biscuits YES LAWWD!!! They were so tasteful and I don't know what the heaviness was, but only it didn't seem like much, but WOW if you put it on the cookies HOT DAYYYUUMMM!!! So damn good. My son got the box and waffles and I tried both. Holy wowsa and what are these waffles?! They are soft and fluffy BUT have a beautiful spice taste. Not like pepper spicy, but nutmeg or a kind of cinnamon or something. Allspice? It's delicious. Really. And the agave chili butter he LOVED it. I also, but I don't know how you balanced the spices with the sweetness so that they didn't exaggerate the other, but they gave each other a beautiful life that complicated the opposite and added the perfect butter quality to the waffles. I feel like the girl needs his own review and I ask why Victoria doesn't sell it and sells JUST the fried Tussi. I've eaten a lot of vegan chicks in 11 years and hot if that's not the best I ever had. I mean EVER. It was tender, well seasoned and especially NOT GREASY. YUM Victoria. Yum. I loved my **** Maria, and my mother really enjoyed her Avocado Toast. I almost forgot the Parmesan Fries! Every review she mentioned said how great they were. Now it is clear that we had ENOUGH food, but I would have resigned if I had not ordered it. Damn. I'm just saying it's damned! These were almost like a steak-peace I usually hate because I don't like floppyries. Who does! These were thick and crispy, the topping was heavy and delicious. Absolutely perfect pommes. And yes, I must say that it is NOT GREAT!!! Oh, I bet you want to know about the service lol. Honestly, it could have been pretty bad and the food and the atmosphere would have left me 5 stars, but no. The service was also excellent. The bartenders were friendly and fast because it was busy!! Many children and families there, many pups and only GREAT Vibe, food, service, PLACE!!! Man alive Victoria her guys could just be my new favorite!!!
One of my most frequented spots in Portland and of the Lightning Bar Collective delicious vegan options, and options for the carnivores in your life as well. Beautiful ambience, wonderful staff, delicious drinks. Thanks always Victoria!
