Le Follie Dello Chef - POTENZA

Today in Potenza no luck finding a restaurant and leave town , drive past a pizzeria with some people outside and pull in to see if they are still open. The waitress tells us there is a private party and she will check with the chef. He invites us in just no pizza only the restaurant menu. So. First they bring us complimentary Prosecco then two different bread baskets. We order first course Beet ravioli, spaghetti in oil and garlic. Salad with fresh greens and tomatoes came next then broccoli in garlic and oil. Lastly home style duck with sauerkraut and hot pepper sauce. For desert we order one napoleon and three forks. They brought the three forks and three giant portions of napoleons and finally some digestive liquor. Throughout the meal the two waitresses were serving us and still handling the large party and so welcoming throughout . At one point we asked for red pepper flakes and while they had none they brought out fresh hot peppers with little scissors to cut whatever we needed. To end this meal the check finally was brought out and it’s total was barely more than a single moderate restaurant might charge for one person. While the meal was great the warm and generous nature of the people are what continues to amaze. If you are visiting Potenza this is a must go to restaurant.

Bellissimo ristorante di Potenza, curato nei dettagli. Il personale è gentile, attento al cliente e sempre con il sorriso (cosa non scontata). L 'ottima qualità degli ingredienti sono alla base di questi piatti originali, rendendo speciale e unico questo luogo. Affidatevi alle buonissime follie dello chef per godere di un 'esperienza fenomenale.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante, sotto consiglio del celebre chef Borghese. Piatti molto buoni, e c 'è tanta varietà di scelta, dai monti al mare. Dolce buonissimo. Location carina, e prezzi onestissimi. Personale e titolare gentilissimi, che ci hanno tolto delle curiosità sul programma televisivo, a cui hanno partecipato. Saluti.
