Anyway they were enthusiastically greeted by the aforementioned Ricardo who is their favourite member of staff and easy to see why. As a meat-lover I was a bit apprehensive at a predominantly seafood restaurant but I need not have worried. The massive ribeye for two is ideal for one very hungry person and the Portuguese Steak was fantastic. We came back several times over the holiday for lunch and dinner. Only downside is that like every restaurant in Alvor, the cider choice tends to be poor and Magners dominates the region.
Amazing location on the beach serving delicious food with a great view. Lovely staff and very welcoming. Lunch and dinner both superb but book in advance as it gets busy. Cataplana, tagine and fresh fish are awesome and also loads of snacks to choose from if you want something lighter.
I would suggest to avoid this place. The staff were extremely rude and did not make us feel welcome. This is surprising considering the reviews that we have read about the place. I would suggest heading to Tobias restaurant next door where it is more chilled and the owner is much more friendly.
The perfect beach bar.Fantastic friendly staff. We were made so welcome on the first visit we decided to call in most days on our first holiday in Alvor. Rui,Ricardo and the rest of the staff made our holiday with their friendliness and fun. Deborah and I hope you have a great season and a fantastic time in Cape Verde.
Great ambiance at this place. Service by Ricardo was exceptional. Food was amazing. I definitely recommend this place.
