Walked in tonight to a bald manager who was simply annoyed we were there. Did not look up from his phone. Kept scrolling while looking down never looked up or made eye contact and in his most annoyed voice said to me 'one? Two? What? ' Real nice kojak. Asked him if we could please sit in a half booth half table. His response was 'no you can 't '. My husband said 'why exactly are they reserved yes he answered. At the exact time we were leaving one table came in. There were two available. No one ever came to sit in the other booth. Leading me to believe this miserable human was just trying to be a miserable human. The food was ok. We got one personal pizza and one steak for $80. Waitress was really great. Another kind woman brought me two cushions for the completely, utterly awful metal excuse for chairs. Doesn 't that tell you something when the seating is so awful that they actually keep cushions on hand? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Really exceeded expectations! As long as we 've been visiting Princeville, this location has been one thing after another, so...we didn 't expect much. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted like old friends. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We chose a seat at the chef 's bar which gave us a front-row seat to the care and craftsmanship plated with each dish. I had a really delicious cocktail (B-56? I think? and the Green Goddess personal sized pizza. I 'll be honest: when I saw the size of the pizza, I thought it was a bit small, but with an app and dessert, would be fine. I was wrong. We did split an app, but half way thru the pizza, I knew I 'd never have room for dessert. I ate *every bite* of that pizza. It was AMAZING. My husband had the salmon special and a really nice wine pairing. Look. We don 't come to Kauai for fancy fine dining. But the quality here would be a match for many of the restaurants back home in San Francisco. I would absolutely eat here again. In fact...we 're considering coming back tonight, because the mushroom pizza looked incredible.
This place was awful, service and food were terrible, not even the wine was good! Supposed to Italian the boloneze was terrible with thick overcooked noodles, and I asked for bread and was told they don't serve it! It was way overpriced for bad quality food, worst dinner of our two week stay.
Very disappointing experience. Prices are high and the quality of food and customer service are not good. $31 for Pizzas that were cold despite the fact they are supposedly cooked to order in a fire pizza oven. Alla Vodka pasta $41) chicken was badly burnt and inedible. Poor customer service, our server rarely came to our table. My wife wanted to order a drink but never had the opportunity. Do not recommend.
Just mediocre food. Cold mashed potatoes. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your money
