Oregon Tapas - Puerto de la Cruz

I've visited this bar many times over the years,,it's now under new management ,I think it's going to take time for them to get sorted I had two meals on this visit and both meals I had problems with them my comments did not seem to be lisent to.

Not only exception coffee, quaint environment and very friendly staff. This was the best coffee I had in Puerto de la Cruz so far. Highly recommended for coffee lovers.

2 coffees, 2 orange juices, 2 cheese ham toastie/toasted sandwiches for €5.80 total. Great start to the day. Would come again.

Looking at some of the other revues I wondered whether I had gone to the same place. We ordered the Menu del día which now costs €9.50 for only two courses plus a drink. The waiters were friendly, but the service was haphazard and the (very) simple meal took over an hour-and-a- half to serve. I ordered calamares and when it arrived, it was a meagre portion served with chopped raw cabbage. There is only one person doing the cooking and he kept being interrupted by new customers ordering drinks. I shall not be going back

Came here today and we started off with 2 coffees which was cold then we ordered the veal steak which we was asked how we would like it cooked we both asked for medium to well when it came it was oozing blood and mostly fat which was impossible to cut. We complained to the waiter who appologised and told the manager but nothing was done, we were then charged full price although the steak was untouched and the fries were in blood. After talking to the manager he gave us €2 euro off the bill which he was reluctant to do. We will definitely give this place a miss next time and go next door which was so much better.
