The staff is friendly. The location and price are OK, but the food is quite fat. They have a really sweet kitten, but it went on several tables while we eat, sitting on the set-up cutlery and plates, so... not quite sure about the cleanliness of the place.
We ordered “lomo” steak (fill bag). What we were serving was a pretty chewing Sirloin type steak. The pommes were frozen and tasteless. The salad was good. I asked for an amber beer and after a discussion with the waiter something ended, which tasted like a mixture of coke and beer. Service was good.
This restaurant concentrates more on a local crowd, but we had an attempt anyway. When we came in, our first impression was not on the positive side. The smell of the restaurant clearly shows that it is a “Parrilla” (grill). The dining area is a large hall with many tables. The interior is kept economical with little consideration to give it a cozy atmosphere. Table and toilets do not look very clean (fingerprint on water glass, smelling toilet aso. On the other hand, the food is cheap and quite right. We tried what was advertised as ́Menu Turistico de Parrilla’ for 250 arg. Pesos p.p. The menu consists of grill plate (chicken, pork, beef and sausage, a mixed salad and a plate of frits. The secondary dishes looked fresh and were tasty, except for oil and vinegar for dressing. The meat was kind of chewing and dry, except the chicken, which was good. The service was fine. The glass red wine ordered was huge (approx. 3 dl! Everything in all it is better than nothing, but next time I would try one of the countless restaurants nearby. Definitely no place for fine food.
This restaurant is totally geared for mass tourism. The food is good, but there is no atmosphere. Tables are located very closely together.
