Contribuer aux commentairesWhat a fantastic find. We were looking for another restaurant that happened to be closed on Sundays. Roberto, came up to us, mentioned that the other restaurant was wonderful, but why not try his? The service was wonderful the food amazing, and very reasonably priced.
After walking by Roberto's, and being invited in, I went into the nice air conditioning and decided to try their food. I was expecting bland, expensive tourist food but was pleasantly surprised that this was the real deal! I tried the traditional Mexican combo. It was delicious! And large portions! I didn't need more food when I left this time.(unlike last night at another restaurant) Very friendly and attentive service. Roberto's deserves a 10!
We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and this was perfect! We started with a pina Colada and strawberry Margarita both delicious and not made with that overly sweet syrup other places use... real fruit! They brought a tray of the meat and seafood out to show us before we ordered. We had the red snapper and Chile rellano and loved both. We were too full for dessert but they brought us each a complimentary after dinner drink which was a nice touch. They were so attentive and genuinely preciated that we chose to dine with them. Truly a memorable evening and meal.
I love Roberto's. It has become my first and, at least, last meal on every trip. I panicked when I arrived in early September and they were closed. But after a great remodel they are back. Amazing, friendly, and welcoming service from Mario. Food and margaritas as perfect as always! The snapper is always fresh and delicious! Restaurant week starts September 15. Go! Go! Go! Roberto's is a PV treasure.
Loved this place. Great customer service from Tony and the whole staff. The food was delicious. From the moment we walked in we were treated like family and pampered like we were VIP. Tony recommended off menu specials for the night and we went with every suggestion. Mushroom, shrimp, octopus appetizer sauteed with white wine garlic butter, it melted in your mouth, served with warm lightly crisped garlic bread to dip in the succulent juices not to waste one last drop. The special meal was grilled lobster tail cooked perfect to melt in your mouth with seasoning and warm garlic butter served with it. The large shrimp the size of the lobster was wrapped in bacon, ham and cheese was a delightful party in your mouth, not to be rivaled by the large coconut shrimp that was lightly dusted with fresh coconut and a sweet mango sauce. All the flavors on one plate was a sinful indulgence of lobster and shrimp like none other before. I wish I could take Robertos home with me. Forever a favorite
