The restaurant has a lovely beach-side location complete with hawkers trying to sell their wares while one dines. The guacamole was delicious--but the...chips they said they would bring--never arrived. So I ate guac with a fork! The next course was served, and as I usually do, I asked, Is it gluten free? And the server said, Ummm...yes, but don 't touch that, or eat that--and stay away from that. I asked her to take it away. She was NOT happy with me. The head server came out and said he 'd make a special salad for me. When it came, it was lovely and delicious. But everyone else had finished that course and I ate alone with awkward glances from fellow diners Is she the reason the mains aren 't here yet? They knew before we cam that one of our group had to be gluten free and they were unprepared and handled it poorly. If you have no allergies, you may like this place. If you do have allergies, I would tell you to avoid it.
We had heard about this place from a friend. It is located across the road and down the block from Starbucks at the Marina. We enjoy at least a couple of lunches at Rosa Mexicana every time we are in PV. The food is fresh...and is very good value, especially for the Marina area. Check the specials board to see what is on offer for lunch before you peruse the menu. A three-course meal for 60 pesos, AND hand-made fresh tortillas made just for you. We recommend visiting Rosa Mexicana, and say high to Victor Hugo for me!
Very well located in the heart of the Marina Vallarta. This small budget place has a superb Mexican food for breakfast and lunch. If we talk about the place, it's an average place with Mexican chairs an tables. Very clean and all tables are...outdoors. If we talk about food, i found a generous dishes with truly Mexican flavors. Yummy Yummy If we talk about prices, a really bargain for the Marina prices. A breakfast for two, less than 20 bucks. So, if you are interested in trying a Mexican flavors, try this one at least during your vacation.
This place is great! we stumbled over this place during a walk and what a hidden shade. the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. we sat outside under the stars, surrounded by trees full of light, and had a candlelight dinner. the personal was. super friendly and all night was so close to perfect that they could ask. can wait when we go back!
First they have to find the restaurant. it is located in the marina, turn on the neptune statue, take the 1st left and it is about halfway on the left side. nothing on the menu was over 100p and the portions were very filled. orderings come with rice or beef and a small salad, all were very fresh tasting. the guacamole was excellent with just enough kick. chips come with 3 salsas from mild to very hot. no alcohol. breakfast and lunch only 8-5.
