I asked about sweet instead of patacones and rice and my camarones were wonderful. personal very attentive and sweet. I called a taxi that I had also walked, didn't want to go back to my airbnb as it was dark and I was uncertain. they were all very good. older woman, traveling alone and always feeling safe.

Really delicious seafood, excellent cocktails, generous portions, attentive service, cheap prices, right on the beach.

Has a lot of potential, unfortunately, rather unused, location is very beautiful, but management seems unconscious that good ingredients make a difference.

El codigo beach restaurant is my first choice when they visit puntarenas, on the beach relaxed atmosphere. waiter treat them like family, always with a smile and a great service. eating is not, marlin filet with seafood mix in a homemade Sampi sauce is fantastic, much taste and perfect balance, we also had the shrimp canastas( garnel filled tostones) was great also, the combination of fried plantains with garnelen scampi is perfect. do not leave puntarenas without visiting this place.
