The Roadside Restaurant - RAINY RIVER

The service was excellent at this restaurant. They got my order right and even asked if I would be eating in or taking my meal to go. They also made sure to include napkins in my bag.

I'm not sure why the previous reviewers criticized this restaurant. When I walked in, it was packed with people.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times, including on July 3rd, 2009, before 10:45am. They told me they were already serving food.

I came back to this place this year because it is the only restaurant in town. Last year it was "okay", but I'd say there is a nice improvement this year. The opening hours are more consistent and longer, and the wait was not nearly as long even though a crush of people showed up at one time. The onion rings were very, very good. The cheeseburger was a cheeseburger. The menu has a section for kids and seniors!

The hours are much more consistent. I ordered a club sandwich And a side salad. The club was very good, well put together and a maple bacon. Side salad was huge and excellent. Would definitely go back.
