Mar'sel - Rancho Palos Verdes

We had an AMAZING time at Mar'sel. The food was delicious and a special shout out to Alex who took VERY good care of us. He was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Gold star gold star

Our dining experience at Mar'sel was nothing short of exceptional, and it was made even better because of the outstanding service we received. Jesus, our server for the evening, had impeccable attention to detail and deep knowledge of the menu. We decided to follow every recommendation he gave us, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece (including the Rosemary Fire Smoked Cocktail, the English Milk-Punch cocktail, the Roasted Corn Soup, the scallops, the bone-in Ribeye special, the Peach Melba cheesecake, and the Chocolate Dulcey Pot de Crème. He told us that he had been working at Mar'sel since 2019, and his deep knowledge of the menu made that clear. Ben Levy, the manager, also came by to chat with us for a while. His professionalism and dedication to excellence were evident, and it’s clear that he leads a team committed to providing an amazing dining experience. It seemed that many people working there had been there for a long time, which in my opinion is a testament to a positive work environment where people are passionate about the cuisine. Desiree, the server assistant, was very attentive, helpful, and friendly, as was the hostess, Sri. In addition to all of this, we enjoyed the most stunning views of the ocean! We saw tons of dolphins in the water during our meal which was magical, especially as the sun was setting. We cannot wait for our next meal at Mar'sel. We had dinner here on our wedding day and it was the icing on the cake of a beautiful day. Bette our server was extremely personable and took great care of us, thank you Mar'Sel and Bette, we will be back!

Jesus took good care of us. The chef placed his best efforts into our steak. The taste, nothing more than phenomenal. Every bite watered my mouth. They treated us like kings and queens, I felt so comfortable and well treated by the excellent service. My wife and I can't wait to come back!

The food is interesting and delicious. We stick to our favorites because we visit to celebrate once a year and know what we like after trying most entrees. The terranea grounds make the walk to and after dinner feel very special along with the spectacular view.
