Upon entering the restaurant we were told that our table would not be in the restaurant but rather upstairs in their festivities hall. Our first impression was that this...was a very uncomfortable area lacking in atmosphere, were tables were placed in several long lines with no privacy at all. The service team consisted of 3 young persons who seemed totally overwhelmed with their task. It took over 30 minutes and several inquiries to finally get some warm drinks. The inluded welcome champagne did not arrive until even later and another complaint by us. The buffet was ok but there were always very long lines as the area was too small and once items were gone they were not replaced. I could go on but needles to say that this was not the brunch experience we were hoping for. I send an email to the restaurant and received an ridiculous reply. I was told that obviously our party was not in the right holiday mood and was given an explanation on how a buffet works. Very condescending and not professional by any standard. I was also told that they had a lot of repeat guests who stuck with them during covid and those guests seem to like their restaurant. What they obviously forgot was that I and my family were some of those guests. Sorry to say never again.
We reserved a hut for my friend's birthday and it was so fun! It's quiet, quaint and great service! Daniela was so accommodating -even an hour before our reservation, a few of the girls couldn't make it and it was no problem! The family-style dinner...was a blast and atmosphere was perfect! Thanks to Eddie for being a great and fun waiter who spoke great English.
The place offers a lot of different Gastro services: restaurant, Biergarten, events, brunch... Cosy and family atmosphere. Great service. Always food adapted to the season. For the Sunday brunch book in advance...
We visited for Friday night dinner with our family of 5 (kids aged 17, 15, 8). It was wonderful. Great food, great ambience and great service. We ordered schnitzel which was veal. Two sizes. The small one had one fillet, and the large one had...two fillets. Served with a fresh side salad. We also ordered fish and chips. That was kind of strange. The fish was salmon. Not so bad after getting over the surprise of salmon. Our 8yo loved it. Excellent table service. And very friendly. We will most certainly add it to our list of favorite family restaurants.
The Christmas brunch today unfortunately very disappointing! not sufficient juice selection! on demand and subsequent complaining of several guests, unfriendly behavior of the pächter. We have never experienced this before. brunch only to minimum, probably because it changes the restaurant at the end of the year.
