They carry a few of different companies. He explained the difference and gave us samples. We didn't buy anything, but the old fashionable sweets and retro glass pop bottles certainly brought back some memories! A funny little stop when you're out.
Do not order several malt.. the worker gets an attitude and makes them so bad can You don't even taste the strawberry flavor over the malt taste. We couldn't even drink half of it. I'm glad we waited 30 minutes to waste our time and our money.
A single sip is huge! There are parking spaces in front and a paid amount on the street. The ice counter will make the service easy for ordering. Try flavors to find the perfect for you! Her peanut butter Oreo ice cream is fabulous. A perfect beach snack.
This Candy Kitchen sells loose candy in 1/3 ounce container for $5 a container. That makes the price of every candy $15 a pound. The Madeira Beach site sells candy of glasses with prices of $9.99 per pound to $11.999 per pound; and as they can calculate the price by weight you can as little or as much as you want. So technically the Redington Beach location tears you off by selling candy for about one third higher than the other location. They lose a star. If you want to buy one of the candy that the Reddington Beach site has prepacked in 1/3 ounces of containers, but go to the Madeira Beach location and save you several dollars. The 5 minutes drive worth.
We were here last fall, but I've been too busy to write a review. This is a historic shop and a family tradition for us while in Florida. We actually go to the other location more frequently, but we happened to be closer to this one after a day on the beach, so we gave it a try.We were pleasantly surprised with the selection of candy, ice cream, and other knickknacks that this location had to offer. For the first time, I got a freshly made ice cream sandwich, that was as huge as a burger. It was delicious and it melted quickly in the hot sun, so it forced me to finish it quickly... next time I'll start it inside so that I can savor the flavors longer.Lastly, Sean was an absolute superstar in his patience and service. While I was waiting as our family explored the store, Sean gave me a quick history lesson on the store, the area during the hurricanes, and his future goals. He also took care of our daughter, when her water toy wasn't working properly and actually comped us a toy after there was an issue with one.We are forever fans and will be back soon!
