When I asked her later, they claimed they would take it back to the restaurant to dispose of it because they have a strict Kovid policy. Come on. Why send your maskless delivery driver back to my house if you have a strict Covid directive? Why would you dispose of food? It doesn't make sense. And I'm sure I didn't want any food delivered to me in another house. Food is hit or missed. The chicken of butter is good, but the Aloo Gobi was terrible. Updated by previous review on 2021-05-22
The vegan options are clearly marked and the staff is competent and accommodating. No complaints.
Due to COVID, only when we went there at the end of June. We had butter chicken, lentil soup... I never had a butter chicken, so was a little disappointed to find that it is basically just gluten-containing meat in the creamy curry sauce. Not a single piece of vege and it was also very salty. The rest of the dishes were not the best Indian food we had eaten. The lady who took our expulsion was very patient and friendly.
Her vegan butter chicken was amazing. Portion sizes are large, and the menu is also very clear what is vegan. Will be ordered from here again. If you order online, make sure to highlight in the comments that you have everything vegan- otherwise some of the options have both vegetarian/ vegan and is made “meat free” but not vegan
I have eaten in many Indian restaurants around the world, Da India is one of the best, excellent food, great staff and management who have time for their customers.
