The atmosphere and the environment is excellent, but eating does not fit. we had the lunch menu, the salat was good, but the main course was a very mediocre chicken casrole. the desert was booked as trifle, but would not pay in our...house a high price for the sake of the sake and facility.
If you want to experience an unusual Germany, you need to visit bad honnef. when they visit a bath honnef, they must go to this terrace because it is such a wonderful place to be. a view of the Rhine and the mountains and a glass. White wine on the inside terrace no.253 makes them alive. and it is such a nice look and a feeling, even small unpleasant mistakes of the staff they will not annoy or annoy them. for example, bringing an olive oil with a spine inside and not apologise for when they mention it. and the toilets are one. not for their cleanliness (they are not) but because of their artistic creativity.
Small but impressive impressionistic exhibition from poussin to monet (up to 6Sep/15). large restored railway station construction. the neighboring restaurant is an architectural gem, but we simply enjoyed a coffee and can 't comment on it served over eating. a very good address for a day outside!
I visited this fine restaurant in Remagen during a buisness trip in November 2011. We came late, and there few guests (this was on a Sunday). Service was quick and fine, and the food was very good. The menu, which included some exiting German specialities,...could however had some more dishes to choose from. But anyhow, I found something I liked, and were pleased. The restaurant is situated inside an old railway station (Bahnhof Rolandseck), which I also found very nice and interesting.
