Salty Blue - Renton

A small restaurant in the 3rd street and about a block west of bank of america. the part is that it is on a one-way street, but the beautiful part is there a parking space and street parking. we had their home fish n chips, salty burger and two beers. the animals were a great choice. the burger is average and the fish was not fresh, but had delicious crunchy. the fries were nicely boiled with delicious aromen and we like the fact that they are the skin on. I wouldn't drive from seattle to eat here, but if I'm in the opposite and need a quick bite, it's likely to break in again.

I just stopped in for the first time and I am blown away! The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The halibut is some of the best fish I have ever had. The batter is light,flavorful and has the perfect crispness to it. The chowder is incredible too with chunks of potato and fish. If you love fish and chips, you have to try Salty Blue.

This place is so good. The fish was cooked perfectly with the batter being just the right amount. The chowder was awesome with a little bit of spice. Their tarter is on point. My only complaint is that the lid to the ketchup was not on correctly. With my only complaint being a manufacturing error that was not their fault, hit this place up.A little expensive, but worth it.

So delicious! This was my first time eating here and I loved it! The flavors and breading of everything was so good it made me clap afterward. I had the fish tacos with a side of chips. So good!The interior is super cute, very on point with colors! They also have a bathroom, and there's plenty of street parking nearby. I think that the pricing is affordable, and either way, super delicious.
