Super Italian food (genuine italian and not so do! big wine card, top service cheap.
We found the best Italian in the city. the wine selection was fantastic and also the sommelier knowledge. a really surprising fresh codfish and also fantastic ine
This place has delicious Italian cuisine, friendly staff and a great service. I loved all 3 dishes burata pomodorini (mozarella cheese with tomaten as an appetizer),Panzorotti alla ricotta (ravioli with Ricotta cheese) as a main dish and finally tiramisu. the tiramisu was easy. good
We come to Dusseldorf every year for business and have dined at Casa Mattoni each time but won’t ever again. We had thought ahead made a booking for 4 diners. This is not about the food which was delicious, it’s about appalling unfriendly service....We don’t speak German or any other language other than English. The menu was not offered in English. The waitstaff/front of house was extremely unfriendly unhelpful! We were being rushed felt like we were a nuisance rather than a paying customer! The entire time he was meant to be serving us he was distracted we felt like we were in the way! The restaurant was at almost full capacity yet only only 3 staff on the floor serving both food drinks. Not once could we get a smile! Ordering wine was even worse! The wine list is extensive but again the assistance was so unfriendly even dismissive. We had friends who had made a large group booking who were told they would have to wait an hour before they could place their meal orders! They were given water but had to wait about 45 minutes for their first drinks.
