Yue Delicacy Restaurant - Richmond

Went for dimsum w/two friends last Sunday. Started off very well. Food is more expensive but acceptable and wait staff was very good. Only the ha gow (shrimp dumplings) dish, I would say were very small compared to other restaurants. Other dishes were very good. Outstanding was the one "special" dish we ordered, the bitter melon/beef w/vermicelli was beautifully presented. The bad part was after the bill was paid, two mins later, manager came by and "ushered" people out the door. Our table and the table next to us. There were still some empty tables around the room. Only one person was sitting by the front door! No people outside either! Why were we "shooed" out the door in such a rush? Less than one hour and 15 mins. Very disappointing to an ending of a great meal.

Yue Delicacy is a new restaurant, opened in May I believe. In the same location was a restaurant called Lucky Tao's. In between there was a significant renovation, and this has greatly improved the space. The menu has changed, and it is truly a brand new restaurant. Very good food, and the place is much more presentable.Note the high end cars like Mercedes, BMWs, Audis, Porsche, Bentley, etc that are in the parking lot.Food isn't cheap, but is tast, makes a good value. For a Chinese restaurant, service is pretty good.

Awesome authentic and gourmet Cantonese food experience.... with healthy and modern cooking and layout. You can tell they put thoughts in their dishes and care about their service. Will go again!

We have just arrived back at our hotel, from visiting this wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. If we visit Richmond again we will definitely go back to Yue. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
