Very nice meal, great locale and will certainly return. Salmon was baked to perfection as were steaks and pork dishes.
The meat is the best example of Argentina´s food. It may take a while but nothing a good wine and snacks do not help to support. If in a large group needs to reserve, and they open late as is the tradition to have dinner after 9:00 pm. Great deserts too. Ask for discount if paying in cash.
La Pancha has a long trajectory of excellent food and great service. I came back to this city after 15 years to find they still hold the best option in town. I have eaten here near a dozen times and I never had something I didn't like. Their homemade pasta and their parrilla which includes fish are their highlights. If you are planning to come at peak weekend times or on special dates it would be best to make a reservation in advance as they ard busy as expected :
The menu is varied, but the meat is delicious. Also the wine selection. The restaurant is picturesque and very well located. The personnel efficient and helpful. Ask about what is the meal (parrija) before selecting, since some local meals may not be to your taste after all. The deserts are also very good.
