Our waiter Steve, though pleasant, was not very skilled. He forgot to bring our salads, didn't know much about the menu, and didn't check back on us frequently. We had to flag him down multiple times. We used to love Needle Rock, but Steve's service has made it one of our least favorite places. The food was still good, but the poor service really affected our experience.
The dining experience was exceptional with spectacular views. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
For birthday dinner. I had a good birthday before the hostess went to our table. Perhaps the policy for birthday desserts has changed.
Four of us had lunch at Needle Rock before a tour at Southwest wildlife Conservation Center. We were seated outside as requested with beautiful views of golf,, desert and the mountains beyond. All of us were very pleased with our meals two had the Asian chicken salad, another had the smoked salmon salad, and the fourth ordered the French onion soup. All of us had decaf cappuccinos for dessert. Sabrina provided expert service throughout. The restaurant both indoors and out is beautiful and the view can’t be topped. Highly recommended!
