Me and my girlfriend wants to sit down because we were walking for like 2 hours just feel the hype of Chinese New Year. We were talking about going to Lucky Chinatown Mall which is just a few steps away and we saw this cafe. We were shocked that there were only few people dining here, our first thought was we found a review place wherein there were a few people, and there is wifi access) so this is like heaven for us. We went there in broad daylight and I think that this Cafe would look good in night time. As for their food, we tried their Almond Cheesecake, and their flavored Coffee we had the Irish Creme). Their Almond Cheesecake was good, and not that sweet, but there were too much almonds for me. their Coffee was also good, Irish Creme was sweet as expected) and it was good for me too. Didn't try their breakfast menu here because we kinda foodtripped already around the Binondo Area. Tips: Get the side tables with big chairs, they are way more comfortable that the usual chair
Masarap naman pagkain nila. Okay naman ang lugar. Pwede siya pantambayan ng mga students or workers. Just to chill. Okay ang ambiance niya. You can watch tv. So habang kumakain pwede ka manuod.
Sidewalk Café is a quaint coffee shop and bakery along Soler St in Binondo. They offer Japanese-style cakes and breads and have display cases you can see at the window. You can try their pastries inside the store or take out. They also customize cakes for occasions. The coffee shop looks like a cute Parisian coffee shop but colourful tables and comfortable chairs, but the background is a toy collection display behind glass casings. We often eat there for breakfast since they open early. Tried their omelette with bread and ham, a complete meal and it was good. But what stands out was their Peanut Butter French Toast. Imagine each bite is a toasted bread that is spread with oozing butter and rich peanut butter that melts in your mouth. It is sinful but brings you to heaven.
Been here with my girlfriends. The price was quite good for their servings, a perfect place to catch up things and make some funny talks. We'll surely make a 2nd visit soon.
My boyfriend was the one who discovered this Cafe and even bought me a slice of their cheesecake and that's when I told him that I wanted to try and see the Cafe for myself. After roaming around Lucky Chinatown we headed here to satisfy our tummies and we did. What we had for our late Lunch is Cream of Pumpkin Soup, Buffalo wings, Korean Beef, Pesto Fettucine, Cream of caramel frappe and Peach and Mango Smoothie for our drinks. I must say that their serving is worthy of the price. Their pesto is a must try although it's oily but i prefer my pesto cooked this way. Their buffalo wings is also good. Their korean beef is a little bit spicy which suits our palate. As for the ambiance it's suitable for lazing around and havinng a chit chat with friends since it's not that crowded. Their staff are also attentive and polite.
