Great find from the Entertainment Book! <br/ <br/ I visited Krish after finding a voucher for it in the Entertainment Book. <br/ <br/ I ordered the Butter Chicken and to be completely honest, it was up there with one of the tastiest Butter Chickens I have ever had! <br/ <br/ The meal sizes are big, so I even had some for left overs that I got enjoy the next day!
We really enjoyed it.We went with a group, most of us ordered the famous butter chicken and it didn't disappoint! Lots of tandoori style chicken in a seriously rich, creamy sauce. The spinach, garlic and cheese naan bread was good, a bit oily, but still good. The menu was extensive, this was particularly good as one of our guests was not a fan of Indian food. You could have ordered chips and calamari if you wish. Our guest chose the moreton bay bugs in some sort of mild sauce. She loved it, it was well priced at $30, ample bug and the sauce was delicious. Great that our guest who was reluctant to eat Indian food loved it.Service was good, you could also BYO wine.
The definitive Indian restaurant outside Asia. Perfectly adapted to the Aussie palate, and even to the palate of distinction. Service is prompt, personal and charming, prices most reasonable.
The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, the butter chicken is the best, and they were terrific in hosting my party for 40 people, bringing food out at the right time.
Devi brings us out small serves of Fijian curries to try, more aromatic than spicy, but then our main arrives: four huge Tandoori Moreton Bay Bug halves, dripping in luscious makhan sauce. It’s without doubt our dish of the night, succulent seafood meat in one of the most delicious curries we’ve tasted. Wow! They won’t be secret for long!
