When the waiter brought our food we asked about appetizer that was ordered and never delivered.. he said oh would you like me to bring it now?? My prime rib looked like butt end of a roast. Tough, grisly awful. I couldn't chew it. Our friends prime rib was chewy n tough. Mashed potatoes runny and shiny. Green beans crunchy not cooked. Terrible Terrible food. Will never eat there again. Very expensive and quality was awful. Did I mention we were there 06pm. So not late...
Absolutely amazing. My husband had the 8 oz. Filet Mignon cooked medium, with a baked potato. He said the steak melted in his mouth. It was amazing. Seasoned perfectly, and cooked exactly right. I had the crab legs and Buffalo Shimp. The crab legs were amazing. Very tender and cooked just right. The shrimp was delicious and huge. It took three bites to eat one shrimp. Our waiter was very thorough also. We never asked for anything. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Fairbanks Steakhouse.
I was so disappointed tonight, first night me and my husband have been out to eat in months and I wanted to come here because it has always been our favorite! Not sure what has happened but the food was horrible my spinach salad was drowning in sauce and the leaves were not even washed, I ordered the surf and turf came with 2-4oz filet medallions, however I was served a new York strip cut in half and looked and tasted like it was soaking in au jus for hours! Definitely disappointed and a waste of money!!
Terrible experience! We arrived at 9:45 pm and they closed at 11 pm. We waited around and asked a woman when we could sit, and she rudely replied that someone would help us. A friendly man then came over and I politely asked him if the kitchen was still open. He went to the bar and another woman yelled out that they were no longer taking any more orders. We were disappointed to be turned away after traveling all the way from Texas to eat at this restaurant.
I called to make a reservation and had difficulty understanding the woman who answered the phone. When I asked her to repeat herself, she was rude and abruptly hung up on me. If this is how they treat customers over the phone, I can only imagine how bad the rest of the service might be. It's surprising that someone lacking basic customer service skills is answering the phone at this establishment.
