After a short and easy walk you get to this lovely place at the foot of the Marmolada surrounded by pasture cows and donkeys playing each other. Dinner was superlative. The best caneders of all our travel experience. Trippa 10 and praise. The chef Amedeo, very friendly in telling the genesis of his dishes, the homemade master and all the staff very kind. Great cheeses. It feels that it is a “real” farm with the products born from the farm. Absolutely recommended.
We park in a convenient parking lot at the entrance of a beautiful campsite and with a 20-minute walk we reach this beautiful malga at the foot of the Marmolada. We were welcomed with friendliness and the owner tried to put us at ease by setting up an umbrella so that we had as much shadow as possible. The cheeses, excellent, which are served are of their production and I must say that also the various dishes we consume were very good. Prices in the average of the other magas. Spacious outdoors to relax.
When people deserve it, it is right to praise them. We had dinner in this very well-kept, clean and eaten well, I recommend polenta and schitz... Besides the young owners are very kind and hospitable people. Congratulations.
We stopped after hiking in the area. Recently renovated interior room small but nice. We took a slice of strudel (too sweet) and a slice of cake, in total € 10,00. Definitely too much for quality, quantity and presentation.
Malga Gran Pian is reached after a pleasant walk of 15 minutes from the campsite completely immersed in nature. In winter bring with you some sleds to make the return journey. In malga traditional dishes: simple and delicious!! Definitely good price for the quality they offer! If you come to Malga Ciapela you have to pass through!
