Arthur's Garden Deli - Rock Falls

If you're looking to break away from the usual lunch chains, Arthur's is a fantastic local sandwich spot that offers delicious sides and even better desserts! The restaurant is always clean, the service is consistently excellent, and the sandwiches are reliably tasty. During my most recent visit, I tried the pastrami and ham Swiss, both of which were quite good and reasonably priced compared to other chains. I've been visiting the Sterling/Rock Falls area for years, and I make it a priority to grab lunch at Arthur's during every trip. This habit not only supports the local economy but also allows me to indulge in their enormous, custom turtle candy cups available at checkout. *For those Yelpers who felt disappointed, keep in mind that you're in a rural area. Local establishments often hold a special place in the community, and the food is celebrated for its comfort and tradition. If you're seeking an East Coast deli experience or a wide range of complex flavors, you might be better off in an urban setting.

Really like the sandwichs they have the soup is good to for not being made in house . I would recommend the place for lunch or dinner. The work of art is areallygood sandwich and very filling

I am new to the area and several people recommended this restaurant and I was glad to try it out. I was absolutely disappointed I bough a corn beef and cheese 7 inch sub and potato sou I was so disappointed when I got home with my dinner. I was able to see the bread thru the thin slice of meat on the sandwich. The soup was watery and thin. I saved 1/2 of my sandwich and expressed my disappointment. There are several other restaurants in the area that I would and have recommended. This appears to me to not surviving a generation transition. Short term profits at the expense of long term reputation. Sorry to say that. Definitely not a positive experience. Staff is friendly Pastrami and Swiss

Great place for a quick lunch! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was in and out very quickly. Great sandwich! This definitely beats the sandwich chains and costs less!

Not much to rave about. The sandwich and soup were both really small. I paid around $10 and left feeling hungry.
