Without a doubt, this is one of America’s best-kept secrets. I first dined there while working at GM in Charlotte. During a visit to San Francisco, I enjoyed what was, at that time, the best clam chowder I had ever tasted, served in a bread bowl at Fisherman’s Wharf. Yet, throughout the meal, I couldn’t stop thinking about returning to Adams Fried Fish for more of their incredible Croaker. The flavor is simply unforgettable. The meals at Adams Fried Fish will stay with you long after you've left. The service matches the quality of the food, making for an exceptional dining experience.
The food is excellent, perfectly seasoned! However, I wasn't too keen on the coleslaw. Make sure to call in 30 minutes before your lunch, as they can get quite busy, and you’ll want your order in time for your lunch break. The service is decent, but a little more smiling from the staff would be nice. As someone in customer service, I know what to expect!
